Elements of a Quality Improvement Statement

  • Attend relevant course work/CEUs on regular basis
  • Participate in formal Peer Review through MAWS – the Washington state midwifery association or another state approved association
  • Collect and review outcome data on a regular basis
  • Practice within scope of practice and generally accepted standard of care
  • Membership in professional association(s)
  • Written client evaluation forms
